Privacy Policy

MyWingman is a personal desktop YouTube uploader. This policy describes the information it accesses and how the desktop application handles it.
Data accessed
With the user’s Google OAuth authorization, the application requests these YouTube scopes:

Depending on the user’s actions, the application may access the authorized YouTube channel identity, video IDs, upload and processing status, privacy and other video status information, and information required to upload user-selected videos.
How Google user data is used
Google user data is used only to authenticate the authorized user, identify that user’s authorized YouTube channel, upload user-selected videos, verify upload success and privacy/status, recover an interrupted upload, and prevent duplicate uploads.
Local storage
The desktop application may store information locally on the user’s computer, including OAuth credentials and tokens, channel and profile data, upload ledger information, video IDs, file hashes, and upload or recovery status. This website does not request or display those local files.
Sharing and advertising
Google user data is not sold, used for targeted advertising, or transferred for unrelated commercial use. The application does not use a separate analytics, advertising, or data-broker service for Google user data.
Revoking access
The user can revoke MyWingman’s Google access through their Google Account’s third-party access or security settings.
Deleting local data
To remove locally stored uploader data, close the desktop application and delete or reset its local application-data directory. The application’s own help or reset controls, when available, can also be used to remove its local profile, token, and upload-state data. Revoking Google access does not by itself delete files stored locally.

MyWingman’s use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.
